Floppy the Monster Interactive is an interactive resource for 4 to 6 year olds, which helps and encourages young children to write their own stories. Working together with others in the class with the teacher, the young children produce their very own story.

Once completed, this story can be published in a full colour book. The book can be printed and even sold to families to raise money for the school.

Aimed at the classroom and encouraging young people to work together to write a story, these resources make learning creative and great fun.

These interactive resources are available for PC and Mac.

Floppy The Monster is Nearly Lost Forever Book Builder is software which has been specially designed to help your class write a story from beginning to end.

It has been written for 4-6 year olds so typing skills are not required. The software allows the children to make simple choices between illustrations, words and phrases using a mouse. Each word and phrase has been carefully chosen to help them to extend their vocabulary.

It has been devised using considerable research and consultation on how stories are constructed and how young children learn and expand their vocabulary.

Our software has all of the following features:

• It takes the children stage by stage through the whole process of writing a story; not just one bit of the story but the entire story. By doing this, each child is empowered and motivated, and learns how to compose a short story from beginning to end.
• The software can be used without access to the Internet. When the story is completed, the file is sent to our printers and comes back professionally printed in a full colour book with your school's name and a list of all the children who have been involved printed in the book.
• Single books can be printed.
• Books can be printed in several examples making them much-appreciated presents for family members.
